Journalist, fact-checker, copy editor, and freelance writer based in Whitehorse, Yukon

I’ve been working as a freelance journalist and fact-checker for more than 10 years. I’ve written for The Walrus, Maclean’s, Outside, Canadian Running, Chatelaine, The Globe and Mail, Maisonneuve, Hazlitt, The Logic, Broadview, and Canadian Geographic, among other publications. I’m also an associate editor at Up Here magazine.

I like to write about life in the North, including housing, infrastructure, the environment, and wildlife, as well as adventure and spirituality. I have a journalism degree from Toronto Metropolitan University.

I also offer copy editing and copy writing services for businesses and organizations.
