Journalist, fact-checker, copy editor, and freelance writer based in Whitehorse, Yukon

About

I’ve been working as a freelance journalist, fact-checker, and writer for nearly 10 years. I’ve written for Up Here, The Walrus, Maclean’s, Outside, Canadian Running, Chatelaine, The Globe and Mail, Maisonneuve, Hazlitt, Broadview, and Canadian Geographic, among others. I’m the business writer at Yukon North of Ordinary magazine and a contributing writer at The Walrus.

I like to write about life in the North, including housing, infrastructure, the environment, and wildlife, as well as adventure and spirituality. I have a journalism degree from Toronto Metropolitan University.

I also offer copy editing and copy writing services for businesses and organizations.
